Denomination is the product

THREE THINGS THAT CHANGE WHEN A COIN IS PRICED IN A CURRENCY
01 / QUOTE

The chart is in your money

A coin deployed in lira quotes in lira. Candles, market cap and volume are converted at the live mid-rate, so holders read the chart in the unit they actually spend.

02 / FEES

Creators are paid in it too

Trade fees route to the creator vault and settle against the same denomination, so a creator in São Paulo is paid a real number in reais instead of a floating dollar figure.

03 / INDEX

Every currency is a market

Coins are grouped by denomination. Filter the index by lira, yen or shekel and you are looking at a separate little economy with its own listings.

How the payout settles

01A trade pays the 1% protocol fee in SOL
02Half is held for the creator vault
03The vault is marked against the coin's denomination at the mid-rate
04The creator claims whenever they want, in SOL or in the denomination
THE OTHER HALF OF THE FEE BUYS AND BURNS $PRICED

How it works

FOUR STEPS FROM A CURRENCY TO A COIN
STEP 01

Pick a currency

Any of the world currencies the rate feed carries. The code you pick becomes the coin's denomination and never changes.

STEP 02

Deploy

The coin launches on a standard bonding curve. The curve runs in SOL; the interface quotes it in your currency at the live mid-rate.

STEP 03

Trade in it

Price, market cap and volume are all shown in the denomination. Holders in that country read a number that means something to them.

STEP 04

Get paid in it

Creator fees accrue to a vault and are marked in the denomination, claimable in SOL or converted on the way out.

Questions

THE ONES WORTH ANSWERING

Where do the rates come from?

Public mid-rate feeds, refreshed while the page is open. The timestamp of the feed in use is printed on the Get currency screen, and every converted number on the site comes from that same snapshot.

Does the coin actually trade in lira?

The curve settles in SOL — that is what Solana moves. The denomination is the unit everything is quoted, marked and paid out in, which is the part a holder reads.

What does $PRICED do?

Half of every protocol fee collected across all denominated coins buys $PRICED and burns it. More currencies in use, more buy pressure on the one token that is priced in all of them.

Can I change the denomination later?

No. The denomination is fixed at deploy, the same way the mint is. If you want the same idea in another currency, deploy another coin — that is the point of the index.
